5 ⭐s for a 4 ⭐ hotel. Nothing was over the top amazing but we had a good overall experience. Rooms were mostly clean and comfortable. Service was good. And breakfast was good. The price seemed a bit high considering everything but still okay.
Only issue we had was above us there were terrible parents letting their kids run laps across the floor but the hotel let us switch rooms so thank you for that!!!
The rooms were huge and clean with a great view! Staff was nice! They had a hot cocoa station and a coffee station open the whole time! Only reason I wouldn’t give it 5 stars is because you have to pay for parking and it’s $10 a day which is crazy seeing how much you already pay for the room. They could’ve at least used that $10 per car to salt the parking lot so it’s not so icy. But other than that great
We checked in Friday afternoon and it seemed like a wonderful place. We got unpacked in our room and realized the mini fridge was completely frozen. I called the front desk and explained how important it was that we had a working one because of my daughters breast milk. She assured me that they could get it swapped out immediately. We left for a few hours to go to dinner and when we got back we checked and it had never been replaced. I called the front desk again and they told me there was no one in maintenance available to get us another one. She offered to move us to another room and after my daughter noticed the ants all over the bathroom we agreed to move. We got to the new room and I checked the fridge to make sure it worked, and it had several chocolate milks and some old strawberries in a bag. The microwave also didn't have a plate in it. My daughter took the kids down to go swimming and was told the pool was closed, she specifically asked when we checked in to make sure it was open and was told it was open until 11pm. We had to go across the street to swim. Another thing was there was only one working ice machine in the hotel.I stay in hotels frequently and have never paid this much for a room, and for it to be the worst experience made it even worse. Hampton Inn was a very big disappointment.
This was one of the largest hotel rooms we have stayed in. Really appreciated the extra space for our family. The checkin on the app and use of phone for room key was convenient. Liked that we could pick our room number. Note that you will still have to stop at the desk for an actual room key if you want to use the pool. Breakfast was good. Large seating area. Quiet, comfortable room. Liked the extra sink by the coffee, microwave, refrigerator area. Pool was good. Plenty of towels Friday and Saturday night. Not crowded. No hot tub. Location close to the Hilton on Cass St where our daughter had dance. Still need to drive, but it’s easy to get to. Also, within 5-15 minutes of the children’s museum and the zoo. Both were easy to get to from this hotel.
We did have a clogged bathroom sink and a leaky bathtub faucet, but other than that the room was in good condition. Front desk employee on Friday night was helpful, but not very welcoming or friendly. She gave the impression that we bothered her by having to ask for a room key for the pool. She quickly helped us and then went to the room behind the front desk. You could hear her and her friends, other employees chatting. I think she just wanted to get back to their conversation.
Parking was easy. Nice sized lot. Had no trouble finding a spot. It’s all paid for on your phone. Easy and convenient.
Would stay here again if we need a hotel in this area. Thank you.
M'eh. Average everything.
Located in a cool, urban, up & coming area of Omaha, with plenty to do nearby.
Would have liked housecleaning to visit during our 3 night stay. Signage says it is to happen every other day, but this wasn't the case for us. We had no dry towels for showers the 3rd morning. Kinda frustrating.
Room was freezing upon arrival and hard to get the room temperature regulated. Toilet wouldn't flush, which they did come fix. Sink was dirty, and shower was hard to turn on and wouldn't get warm. Carpet was dirty. Not a good experience! Time for an update!!
Avoid this hotel!!!
The hotel and the room were dirty and in disrepair. AC unit was held together with duct tape. Mold on ceiling and walls of tub. Door didn’t close properly. …
Not impressed by the hotel. The staff were helpful and helped get the stars I'm giving. Me and my fiancee stayed here while I had to attend to some business for a few days. The first room we attempted to stay in had a dirty toilet, TV with …
